Who We Are

Mission, Vision & Values

The principles that guide everything we do.

Our Mission

UPLIFT'D works to expand equitable access to education, careers, mentorship, leadership development, and global opportunities for disabled youth and young adults.

Our Vision

A world where disabled youth and young adults have equitable access to the opportunities, resources, relationships, and support needed to define and pursue their futures.

Core Values

What we stand on.

Disability Justice

We center the full humanity, leadership, and self-determination of disabled people. Disability justice is not a framework we apply — it is the foundation we build from.

Youth Leadership

Disabled youth are not problems to be solved. They are leaders to be resourced. We build with young people, not for them.

Equitable Access

Access is not a favor. It is a right. We work to remove the structural barriers that prevent disabled youth from reaching the opportunities they deserve.

Interdependence

We believe in the power of community, mutual support, and collective care. No one navigates the world alone — and no one should have to.

Global Perspective

Disability is a global experience. We are committed to connecting disabled youth with international opportunities and building cross-cultural solidarity.

Community

Community is part of access. We build spaces where disabled youth can find one another, support one another, and lead together.

Radical Welcome

Everyone belongs here. We are committed to building an organization that is genuinely inclusive — across disability, race, gender, class, language, and background.

These aren't just words.

They're the commitments we hold ourselves to — in our programs, our partnerships, and our organizational culture.
